**Please note: The Willowby Community League is in need of a Membership Director to sell Community Memberships.

This job includes duties like:
1. Selling memberships from home and through the mail
2. Selling memberships at different events put on by the community
3. Selling memberships at different sporting registrations held throughout the year.
4. May also include Organizing and running future membership drive

Memberships can be purchased for $35.00 per year by anyone residing within the boundaries of the Community's of Ormsby Place, Jamieson Place and Dechene. Memberships are valid from September 1 to August 31 of the following year.

The actual boundaries of Willowby community league are:
South of 69th Avenue
East of Anthony Henday
North of Lessard Road
West of 178th Street

• Free skating at Callingwood Arena
  Saturdays: 3:45 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. and Sundays: 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. - times subject to change
• Free access to all community league outdoor skating rinks
• Fee swimming at Jamie Platz YMCA
  Sundays 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. - times subject to change
• Free access to the Indoor Playground at the Jamie Platz YMCA (please call ahead for times)

The Willowby Community League also:

• Supports Willowby Playschool
• Organizes volunteers to coordinate and coach various sport programs (indoor and outdoor soccer and basketball) so your children can participate.
• Sponsors the Green Shack summer programs at WCL and Michael A. Kostek school in cooperation with City of Edmonton
• Delivers the West End Community Newsletter to your mailbox
• Maintains the Willowby Community hall and ice rink
• Sponsors family fun events
• Hosts an Annual 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament
• Sponsors the Ormsby Care and Share program
• Organizes and hosts City of Edmonton programs such as the Baby-sitting Course, Four Wheel Drive and Ride to Survive with very affordable fees. Keep your eyes peeled to the West End Community News for upcoming programs!
• Gathers community input on neighbourhood issues, opportunities and challenges.
• Meets with other community leagues to address local issue and concerns throughout the Edmonton Federation of Community Leagues.
